PapayaMobile launches complete monetisation suite for Android

Due to Google's lackluster official solution, monetisation has been the big focus on Android Market for the past six months. 

However, with such solutions often being as fragmented as much of the rest of the platform, developers looking to take advantage have had to employ software from various different firms.

Priceless payments

Coming to the rescue, a new venture by PapayaMobile attempts to bring all the technology together in one place, with the firm having signed partnerships with three firms Zong, Billing Revolution and Adknowledge.

Mobile payments specialist Zong has agreed to aid developers in terms of implementing Papaya's virtual currency and in-app purchase system into titles, supporting carrier billing in 40 countries and with over 200 carriers.

E-commerce firm Billing Revolution will serve up a single click checkout for credit card transactions from any handset.

Finally, Papaya's partnership with Adknowledge will allow developers to inject revenue into apps through its Super Rewards system - via Papaya's Offer SDK - which hands players the opportunity to win virtual coins, goods, or points.

Currently, there are more than 2,000 new offers in Papaya’s Offer SDK system.

Roving revenue

In this way, Papaya believes it's served up a one-stop shop for developers looking to drive revenue beyond simply charging for their apps.
