Pocket Gamer Mobile Mixer bound for London on 2 October

Making a return trip to the UK, Pocket Gamer's Mobile Mixer is heading for London on the 2 October, charging the industry's greatest minds with engaging in some heated debate.

Mobile Mixer, which is held in association with PapayaMobile, is ultimately designed to get people talking, setting groups of industry luminaries against each other in an interactive panel before declaring an ultimate victor.

It also features free beer and food for all attendees, ensuring all those that take part 'win' in some capacity.

Kicking off from 6pm (with the bar, crucially, open from 5.30pm), this latest Mixer will tackle cross-promotion and advertising, with the ultimate aim of finding out what works best when it comes to growing a game's audience.

Should you always focus on growing the base? Or when can/should you monetise by promoting other games? How do you balance value for your users versus income? Which systems should you use?

Expect all these questions and more to be answered throughout the course of the evening, if not from the panelists themselves then from the typically well informed and enthusiastic audience.
