MobileBits adds content to 50,000-strong SoulCraft beta

MobileBits' Android free-to-play action-RPG title SoulCraft has been in open beta for a couple of weeks, accumulated 50,000 players in the process.

And in response to fan demand, a new location, the Cambodian map, has been added.

Currently, only available on Tegra 2 and Tegra 3-powered devices, the game features what the company labels 'HD environments, HD textures and physical particle effects using all four cores of the Tegra 3 superphones and tablets'.

Big apple

"One of the features requested are more locations to play on and that's why we added Cambodia into the mix and we will add New York in about 2 weeks", said Karsten Wysk, CEO of MobileBits.

Producer Boje Holtz added "SoulCraft is for real gamers and what better way to get feedback than to let gamers actually play the game?"

MobileBits is preparing to discuss details of its experiences making the game in a developer diary on its website, which is also where you can access the open beta.
