After partnering up with everything from baby clothes to pistachios, there's a mite more logic to Finnish developer Rovio's latest deal.

The studio has announced it's working with Samsung to give away three Galaxy Note handsets, all delivered via a micro-site tagged on to Angry Birds for the Chrome Web Store.

Advent adventure

The promo comes as Rovio adds 25 exclusive levels to Angry Birds on Chrome in celebration of the run up to Christmas.

"The holiday season is all about giving back and giving thanks, and this year we wanted to thank our millions of fans by giving them some great Angry Birds experiences," said Rovio CMO Peter Vesterbacka.

"Not only are they receiving 25 new levels in our advent game, but they’re also getting a chance to win the best Samsung products around and participate in a fun advent challenge."

Notes of happiness

Users who post the top 50 scores on the game's new Winter Wonderland level will all receive a prize of some sort, though only the top three will pick up a Note.

Others will be rewarded with a selection of festive themed Angry Birds toys.

"It's so good to team up with Rovio again. Samsung has had a brilliant year and our Galaxy devices are popular all over the world, so to be able to launch a holiday experience inside the most popular mobile game in the world, is awesome," added Samsung's SVP of global communications business, YH Lee.

"To all those Angry Birds fans out there: enjoy yourselves and check out the Galaxy Note for an even better mobile gaming experience."

Rovio recently announced that total Angry Birds downloads had passed the half a billion mark, with the studio looking to accumulate another 500 million by 2014.
