Rovio, Sony, Fishlabs, Papaya and Flurry speaking at Gamelab Mobile

A full schedule of speakers and sessions has been announced for Gamelab Mobile 2012 the one day conference organised by Gamelab in collaboration with Pocket Gamer.
The event takes place in Barcelona on 27 June, and will see representatives from Sony, Rovio, Digital Legends, Fishlabs, Flurry, Papaya, and 6Waves discussing the wild present and uncharted future of mobile gaming.
Individual speakers include Digital Legends' Xavier Carrillo, who'll be ruminating on the future of mobile gaming; Flurry's Simon Podd will be asking just how big the mobile games market can get; and Papaya's Chris Hanage will discuss the importance of being social.
Debate club
Gamelab Mobile will also feature plenty of public arguments or panel discussions, as they're sometimes called.
One such panel will see Sony's Tim Harrison, Tequila Mobile's Paul Flanagan, and Fishlabs' Michael Shade debating whether there's cash to be found outside of Apple's walled garden.
Attendees can also expect a panel discussion on location-based gaming, Noverama's Daniel Sánchez Crespo making a case for the PS Vita, and a session on turning games into brands delivered by Rovio's Teemu Huuhtanen and Matthew Wilson.
Let battle commence
And the event is bound to go out with a bang, as the excitingly named Pocket Gamer Battle Panel sees 6Waves' Jim Ying, Super Mega Team's Ricardo Carretero, and Steel Media's own Chris James debating whether publishers or the do-it-yourself process is best for app makers.
If the promise of battle has piqued your interest, conference passes are available now from the Gamelab website.
A full conference pass is priced at 80, and affords you entry to Gamelab Mobile as well as the wider Gamelab events.
