Samsung S8000 Android phone details leaked
Its only a week or so since Samsung came forward and confirmed it has plans to release three Android phones, though it raised concerns that mobile phone carriers still werent behind Googles operating system.
Many of those concerns are likely to have been quashed by an inadvertent pre-order listing on Russian website Euroset.ru, which gave away the details on the touchscreen smartphone, the S8000.
Before the listing quickly disappeared again, the sleek handset was said to including a 5MP camera with LED Flash, 3.1 Inch AMOLED display, WVGA resolution, 16 million colours, FM Radio with RDS, 2GB internal memory, MicroSD slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, wi-fi, GPS (with A-GPS), Bluetooth 2.1 and USB.
It was also pegged for a June release at a pre-order price of around 470 (approximately £414). The Android needs a feature rich, sexy device like this to really bring it to life, so hopefully well be getting some more details on the S8000 before much longer.
