Samsung's bada SDK out of beta as version 1.0.0 makes debut

Three months on from its beta launch in early May, Samsung has released the first full version of its bada SDK.
Version 1.0.0, which can now be downloaded from the firm's website, comes with the same feature-set as the beta C/C++ based development tools, simulator, UI builder, sample apps, documentation and tutorials all on board.
Testing the waters
In addition, the bada SDK also has a new test environment designed to help studios perfect their coding.
Called the Remote Test Laboratory (RTL), the new set up which itself is only available in beta form allows developers to try out their apps on a real device from remote locations.
Million seller
The final version of the OS comes after the first bada equipped phone made its debut in June.
The Wave S8500 managed to sell 1 million units in its first 4 weeks, although it's been overshadowed somewhat by the performance of Samsung's latest Android phone the Galaxy S which has already hit 1 million shipments in the US alone in just over a month.
You can download version 1.0.0 from bada's developer site now.
