Orgnaisers behind Game Connection Europe 2012 bound for Paris from 28-30 November have announced the first confirmed speakers for the event.

The conference's game design track will welcome Tiger Style's Randy Smith and Microsoft Studios' Jeff Combos, while the technology track will include talks on game tools in the browser and the difficulty of going mobile.

Pete Smith of Sony Computer Entertainment will deliver a session on pitching to publishers as part of the business track, which will also feature TinyCo's Andrew N. Green discussing the evolution of game publishing.

Hard to keep track

A dedicated marketing track to go alongside the conference's dedicated marketing awards will include InnoGames CMO Volker Dressel and King.com CEO Riccardo Zacconi.

As if all that wasn't enough, there will also be a production track and a visual arts track that includes a session by renowned special effects workshop Weta   for attendees to consider.

Registration for the event is open now, with a standard pass priced at €700. However, UK studios can apply to TIGA for a £1,000 grant to attend.

A range of other ticketing options are also available, so those interested in attending should visit the Game Connection 2012 website.
