Stillfront names Alexis Bonte as new president and group CEO

Global games company Stillfront Group has appointed Alexis Bonte as its permanent president and CEO effective immediately.

The move follows Bonte's appointment as interim CEO last year, after former incumbent Jörgen Larsson's departure. 

Bonte previously co-founded eRepublik Labs, which was acquired by Stillfront in 2017. He's held key leadership roles within the publisher since, including group COO.

Setting clear priorities 

Bonte’s appointment follows a few months on from Stillfront’s decision to split its operations into three business areas as it looks to raise revenue and profitability. Those divisions include Europe, North America, and MENA/APAC, each reporting as separate segments.

This year the company aims to optimise UA spend and focus on key franchises in North America. Meanwhile its European operations are said to have stable margins with new game launches planned for later in the year, and the MENA and APAC regions are seen as the "growth engine" of the group.

In January Stillfront appointed Todd Heringer as EVP of business area North America and Kieran O'Leary as EVP of growth platform. 

Meanwhile, Group CFO Andreas Uddman has stepped down, but will remain in his role until a successor is appointed or until July 2025.
