Submissions for GDC Europe 2013 talks end 22 April

With the majority of the PocketGamer.biz team still oozing from our GDC 2013 efforts, organiser UBM Tech Game Network is already onto its next conference.

And with that in mind, it's opening submissions for GDC Europe 2013.

That will be held in Cologne, Germany from Monday 19 to Wednesday 21 August, and co-located with the trade days of Gamescom, before it goes all massive, opening its doors for consumers at the weekend.

More talk, talk

To recap, GDC Europe witnessed over 2,200 attendees in 2012 and mixed the best speakers from the San Francisco event with local and upcoming experts.

Tracks this year include business, marketing & management, design, production, programming, and visual arts, plus there are three summits: the Free to Play Design & Business Summit; the Smartphone & Tablet Games Summit; and the Independent Games Summit.

So if you think you have a good idea for a talk, the deadline to let people know is 22 April.
