Submissions now open for talks at GDC Next and App Developers Conference

It's all change for one part of the Game Developers Conference empire come the end of 2013.
Old favourite - if only for its Austin location - GDC Online is no more.
It's been replaced by the all-new GDC Next, which is backed by the more general App Developers Conference.
Both will be held in Los Angeles, running 5-7 November.

So, with the conference setting and the subject matter shaken up, it's time for the industry to come up with some talks that will set the standard for the coming years.
Submissions for both conferences are now open, with a final deadline of Wednesday 29 May.
For GDC Next, there are six tracks: the future of gaming; next generation game platforms; free-to-play & new business models; smartphone & tablet games; cloud gaming; and independent games.
The App Developers Conference is somewhat different in scope and will be open for discussion about non-gaming apps.
Specific sectors include entertainment, enterprise, health/wellness, lifestyle, brand marketing, and education, while talks are expected on topics such as design, programming, and business/marketing.
