Taito shows immediate confidence in Nokia's Ovi Store

Nokia has only just opened the doors to its online app store, the Ovi Store, which has proven itself at once a well designed and efficient digital distribution network, and a system plagued with teething troubles.
Regardless of launch problems, however, it seems the big name developers and publishers have high expectations for Nokia's app store. Taito has prepared two of its biggest franchises for the Ovi's launch line up: Super Puzzle Bobble and Cooking Mama.
Both games have proven successful on a host of different platforms, including mobile, but clearly Taito (owned by the rapidly expanding Square Enix) believes the new distribution method promises a whole new round of sales for its established brands.
More Taito games are promised for the Ovi Store shortly.
