Tapjoy unveils new SDKs for Windows Phone

Tapjoy has announced the launch of new SDKs for Windows Phone, with the firm looking to support both developers and advertisers operating on the platform.
The company claims the SDKs devlier similar functionality to those on offer for iOS and Android, with Tapjoy stating Windows Phone's growing base means developer support is "no longer a question of 'if' but 'when'."
Monetisation matters
"While the exact evolution of in-app payments and monetisation solutions on the platform remains to be seen, Tapjoy is doing our job to boost the ecosystem by releasing our publisher and advertiser SDK for WP7 developers today," the firm stated on its blog.
"The SDKs are designed for app developers building on the XNA and Silverlight frameworks and are intended to give those developers a turnkey platform for acquiring cost-effective new users, driving deeper engagement within their apps, and monetising virtual goods or premium content."
Developers utilising the publisher SDK can access Tapjoy's ad marketplace - the list of actions players can engage with in order to unlock in-game revenue, which itself can be fully managed.
Studios can also integrate full screen featured ads, standard banner ads and video units capable of delivering HD quality clips into their games.
Early days
"Volume and scalability for app install campaigns will likely be limited while we grow our publisher base on WP7, but we are very bullish on the platform and we expect our WP7 network to ramp up quickly," the firm admitted.
The SDK for advertisers also on offer delivers pay-per-install and pay-per-engagemnent app distribution options.
Firms looking to make use of either SDKs can download them from the Tapjoy website.
