TapNation hits 150m downloads with Guess Their Answer and Doll Dress Up

• Guess Their Answer generates over $200,000 annually from in-app purchases.

TapNation's hit titles Guess Their Answer and Doll Dress Up have surpassed 150 million downloads.

Guess Their Answer first released in 2021 and now boasts 100m downloads, while Doll Dress Up has amassed 50m installs since it launched in 2024. 

The publisher said its game portfolio has now surpassed 1.5 billion downloads. 

Guess Their Answer challenges players to guess the most popular responses to survey-style prompts and has generated over $200,000 in annual in-app revenue, the publisher claimed. 

Meanwhile, Doll Dress Up allows players to style characters with outfits and makeup, resonating with Gen Z and Millennials who favour customisable and socially shareable experiences.

Founded in 2019, TapNation operates a data-driven publishing model focused on performance analytics and close collaboration with over 50 partner studios globally.

The French mobile publisher raised $16.1m in 2023 to diversify its game portfolio and accelerate its growth strategy.

The company said it is actively investing in Web3 integrations and enhancing its AI strategy to drive innovation, optimise game testing, and strengthen performance analytics across its portfolio.

“These numbers validate the strategic investments we’ve made in game intelligence and product experimentation,” said TapNation senior product manager Alexis Albert. 

“The runaway success of Doll Dress Up and Guess Their Answer reflect a wider trend in the mobile games industry: players increasingly seek out casual, short form, accessible games that offer moments of light connection and entertainment."
