The first Got Game Conference is setting up shop in Amsterdam from 20-21 August, when it will welcome industry professionals, start-ups, and students to exchange their accumulated wisdom.

The first day of talks and session is strictly a VIP-only affair.

Fortunately, anyone who buys a $100 two-day pass qualifies as a VIP, and attendees can expect talks from Remedy's Matias Myllyrinne, Rough Cookie's Erik t’ Sas, and Iron Galaxy Studios' Dave Lang.

Representatives from Epic Games and Quantic Dreams will also take to the stage, and day one of talks is capped off with a networking party that's free for attendees.

Two-dayer

The second day of Got Game features two conference tracks: 'Starting your own games studio' and 'growing your own games studio.'

To discuss those two topics, Got Game will welcome Digital Dreams' Thijmen Bink, IQU's Oliver Kern, Bloomsix's Bart Verschoor, and a host of other speakers to impart their gaming knowledge with attendees.

Tickets to day two of Got Game are currently available for €50.

Eventful

Sabina Dirks, CEO of event planners Eventina explained that "For a number of years we have worked with Streamline Media Group to find better ways to shed light on the prolific video game industry in the Netherlands and are excited to announce the Amsterdam Got Game Conference.

"We are honoured to present this unique event in this beautiful city, offering an impressive line-up for a small entrance fee to stimulate growth and opportunities for everybody, especially during these hard times."
