Top six titles on Kindle in past 90 days are games

It's unlikely either Apple or Google were quaking in their boots when games began to roll out on Kindle earlier this year.

Of the entire top 12, in fact, only four of the best selling titles on the platform are actually books a rather surprising turn of events, given Kindle is primarily an e-reader, its word-based games served up almost as a bonus.
Though the games themselves were never likely to rival the likes of Infinity Blade in terms of visuals Mahjong Solitaire and EA Sudoku some of the top performers their price point alone no doubt makes them an appealing purchase.
The top selling books on Kindle retail for between $9.99 and $12.99. In comparison, games on the platform tend to come in at $3.99 or less.
