UK ad marketplace Adfonic opens German office

Advertising marketplace Adfonic has announced the formation of a new base in Munich, with the firm capitalising on what it calls its strong growth in the German-speaking region.

The new office will enable growth in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and be headed up by new region general manager Albert Pescheck.

"I'm delighted to be establishing Adfonic's on-the-ground operations in German-speaking Europe from the new office in Munich," said Pescheck.

"Our exclusive inventory and rich media capabilities mean that we can provide a unique service to our customers in the region.

"We bring globally gained experience in the automotive, entertainment, communications, travel and retail sectors combined with stringent publisher guidelines and quality client services to the D-A-CH market."

Adfonic says its German base will offer advertisers in the region significant reach and scale using inventory across an array of mobile publisher sites and apps that would otherwise be out of their reach.

The expansion follows a similar move in the US market set in motion by Adfonic after a $7.5 million funding round in November.

Other offices have also since been established in Madrid and Singapore, with the former serving as a beacon for the Latin American market.
