UK start up Distorted Poetry releases debut iOS game, Petri-Dash

Birmingham-based start up Distorted Poetry has released Petri-Dash, its first iOS title.
The fresh-faced handheld and mobile focused game development studio is currently continuing to work on iOS, however, founder James Booth maintains the future could see it spreading beyond the big A's devices, into Playstation Suite and Nintendo consoles.
Poetry in motion
Booth himself has a background at Full Fat Productions and Other Ocean Interactive, and outlined the reasons for setting up his own company in an already competitive market.
'Everywhere I went I saw studios being closed down, being bought out and having to make people redundant," he says.
"So instead of just waiting to find another job as a games designer I decided to set up my own company.
"Myself and technical director Steve Parkes set up the company officially in February this year and presently we now have 10 people working for Distorted Poetry."
