Unity's revenue reached $435 million in Q1 2025, down from $460m in Q1 2024.

That's according to the company's latest financials which showed net cash provided by operating activities of $13m and a free cash flow of $7m.

Moreover, Create Solutions revenue decreased to $150m (from $164m), while Grow Solutions revenue fell to $285m (from $297m).

Furthermore, Unity posted a GAAP net loss of $78m and a GAAP loss per share of $0.19. Adjusted EBITDA was $84m, with an adjusted EPS of $0.24.

Making progress

As of March 31st, 2025, the company said its cash and cash equivalents totalled $1.55 billion, an increase of $24m compared with the $1.52bn as of December 31, 2024.

This increase was mainly due to proceeds from employee equity plans and operations, partially offset by cash outflows from debt refinancing.

"The Company’s first quarter results once again meaningfully exceeded expectations on both revenue and Adjusted EBITDA, highlighting our progress as we continue to build a culture of execution and discipline,” said Unity president and CEO Matt Bromberg.

“The early success of Unity Vector and continued strong demand for Unity 6 underscore our positioning as the leading integrated platform supporting developers across the full lifecycle of game development."
