W3i launches iOS app recommendation channel AppAllStar

Not content with reaching out to social mobile developers with its iOS publishing deal - Recharge Studios - distributor W3i has launched a new venture AppAllStar.
The platform is W3i's take on an app recommendation service, providing consumers with what it claims is a "one stop shop for quality daily game apps".
All aboard for AppAllStar
App discovery platforms are nothing new these days OpenFeint and FreeAppADay are forerunners in the market - but W3i believes AppAllStar has a superior set up, and one that ensures quality rather than quantity reaches the consumer.
"The problem we saw with the services in the market currently was that they promote anything," said product manager Melissa Johnson.
"We like to think app users have a higher expectation for quality, even from free apps."
Keeping the user experience concise appears to be key, with W3i stating that AppAllStar delivers quality free and low-priced content, ranking recommended iOS games.
AllAppStar's league is available through an app on the App Store, as well as a fully fledged website and officially sanctioned widgets employed across select app review sites.
Developers interested in joining the league can apply to submit their apps from the AppAllStar website.
