Xendex opens UK office as part of expansion

Austrian mobile games developer Xendex has opened a UK office in London, as part of its expansion plans.

It's the second overseas office for the company, following its expansion to Poland. The new London office will be headed up by Xendex's VP of international sales and marketing Achim Kürten.

"The existence of a local presence in the UK is of strategic importance," says CEO Michael Haberl.

"A significant number of our key publishing and licensing partners are based in London. Working from within the country will enable us to offer our partners an even better, faster and more direct service than before."

The news follows Xendex's announcement in June of a €2.3 million funding round. The developer has worked for publishers including I-play and Hands-On Mobile in recent years.
