Zynga plugs into GetJar Gold giving away Android versions of Drop 7 and enhanced Zynga Poker for free

Demonstrating the validity of point 21 from my '21 game changing biz trends from GDC 2012 you need to know' article, Zynga has signed a deal to use GetJar's Gold distribution channel.
It's not the first time the two companies have worked together, though.
Back in December 2010, Zynga pushed out the Android version of its Facebook game Mafia Wars Atlantic City through the free app store.
Going for gold
GetJar Gold is a slightly different approach, however, in that it's designed to distributed paid Android games for free due to advertising GetJar can wrap around the increased download volumes of the promotional channel.
The first Zynga game available in this way is the typically priced $2.99 Drop 7.
Significantly, the other game - Zynga Poker - is always free, but the version available through GetJar Gold provides you with 20,000 chips (10,000 more than usual) and the Poker Hand Strength Meter.
