We've searching for a Lead Animator to join a company who is making huge strides in the world of Animation, VFX and game cinematics.

Founded by experienced Artists and Animators the studio has a rich history going back over 10 years, their work has seen them become an award-winning, international studio, who collaborate with partners around the globe.

Their work is heavily focussed around the games industry, creating cinematics and distinctive content and commercials for beloved franchises. As a collective, they are a small but dedicated team of professionals providing animation and VFX services of the highest quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creating character, creature and vehicle keyframe animation
• Camera layout/previs
• Planning character performance for shots, including recording reference
• Working closely with your team to ensure consistency across shots
• Continuing technical knowledge, adapting to new processes and technologies - inspiring your team to follow suit

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 or more years of Animation experience
• Strong knowledge of animating using Autodesk Maya
• Accomplished animation skills with knowledge of strong posing, timing, weight, rhythm and storytelling
• Comprehensive knowledge of basic artistic human anatomy
• Knowledge and understanding of real world physics and applying this within animation
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with other departments to solve challenges
• Good knowledge of cinematography
• Able to commute to or relocate to work in Yorkshire, UK
