Japanese game publisher Capcom (TYO:9697) has announced its FY15 Q1 financials, for the three months ending 30 June 2014.
Net sales were $94.5 million (¥9.6 billion), down 45 percent year-on-year.
Sales from mobile games accounted for $14 million (¥1.4 billion), down 26 percent.
Net income was $7.6 million (¥765 million), down 7.5 percent.
Despite strong sales from Dead Rising 3, Monster Hunter Frontier GG and iOS game Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, Capcom pointed to the lack of major releases during the quarter compared to 12 months ago.

Looking at Capcom's mobile activities, the company said it had reduced marketing and administrative costs.
Around 70 percent of mobile sales came from Capcom Mobile, while 30 percent came from US-based Beeline, which runs western-focused casual mobile games such as Smurfs' Village and Snoopy's Candy Town.
In terms of future activity in Asia - notably China - Capcom said that although it was expanding, sales in the region would not be significant in this financial year.
"We are keenly aware of the difficulties associated with expanding business in China," it noted, although adding it plans to steadily increase the number of games it releases.
