Tencent and Aiming sign mutual game distribution deal in China and Japan

Combining to bridge two of the most lucrative mobile games markets in the world, Japanese outfit Aiming and Chinese behemoth Tencent have signed a distribution agreement.

Best known for its top grossing game Logres of Swords and Sorcery, Aiming's games will be distributed by Tencent in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.

Conversely, Aiming will help distribute Tencent (and its partners') titles in Japan, albeit on a non-exclusive manner.

No financial details of the deal - labelled "an investment and business partnership" - have been announced, but given Tencent's monetary muscle, there's little doubt it's paid up to ensure Aiming's support.
