How to succeed in Asia panel

As part of Pocket Gamer Connects Bangalore 2015, George Osborn led a panel on the different Asian markets and how best to get into them.

He was joined by Rajat Gupta, Head of User Acquisition at LINE; Rico Wyder, Director of Sales, APAC at Fiksu; Gary Huang, Mobile Game Business Development at NetEase; Manish Agarwal, then-CEO of Reliance Entertainment – Digital; and Ratapatr Chotimongkol, co-founder of Thai developer Sinoze Game Studio.

Not for the faint-hearted

Huang touched on China's desirability as a market, as it has a high percentage of credit card and smartphone users, but warned that "competition is strong and fierce."

Similarly, Wyder suggested that "if the market expects higher quality, consider not entering the market if you're not up to expectation."
