Chinese publisher Kingnet debuts in the West with multiplayer war game Thunder Fleet

Chinese games publisher Kingnet Technology is the latest Asian company to try its hand at the Western market with its new game Thunder Fleet.

The naval warship game is a real-time multiplayer game that tasks users with destroying the enemy fleet.

The iOS and Android title marks Kingnet’s first foray into the Western market.

Sailing West

The Chinese games publisher was founded in 2008 and went public last year. It has had huge success in the Asia market and is one of the top grossing publishers in South Korea.

One of its leading titles in mobile game MU Miracle, based on the PC Online adventure title MU Online, and has reached the top ten grossing charts across Asia.

Kingnet currently makes more than $30 million each month from its portfolio of games in the Asia markets, and is looking to expand on that success in the West.
