ChinaJoy 2025 to break records, now with one-day industry access via Pocket Gamer Connects

Organisers behind Asia’s leading entertainment and game expo ChinaJoy recently announced a record-breaking lineup for its 22nd edition.

Running from August 1st - 4th, ChinaJoy 2025 will see:

• 237 overseas companies attending, nearly a third of the total exhibitors. 

• So far, 743 companies have registered for the event, originating from 37 different countries and regions, including the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, Japan and South Korea.

Attendees will benefit from a dedicated B2B Negotiation Zone, spanning 25,000 square meters and hosting more than 460 exhibitors. 45.2% of these are foreign companies.

In addition to its game exhibitions, the expo will also feature domestic game and eSports conferences and multiple live shows. 

New plans for this year also include establishing a special fund for the games industry, founding a research and service centre for game companies aiming to expand globally, and introducing additional game majors in Shanghai universities. 

Moreover, the event will introduce new areas revolving around AI-generated content, highlighting the growing integration between AI and games.
