Color Switch surpasses 150 million downloads in 15 months

Still going strong with 20 million downloads in last three months

Color Switch surpasses 150 million downloads in 15 months

Color Switch has accumulated more than 150 million downloads since its launch in December 2015.

Originally a viral success story for one-man indie David Reichelt, who developed the game using Buildbox, the game has found greater longevity thanks to the addition of new modes, improved UX and new monetisation systems by publisher Fortafy Games.

Sustainability

As a result, what could have been a flash in the pan has received 65 updates, now boasting more than 2,500 levels and 30 game modes.

And it's paying off, with 20 million downloads for Color Switch coming in just the last three months.

Fortafy Games is now said to be actively looking for more games to publish, with two to three already in the works.
