Com2us partners with Funko for Summoners War figurines and more

Summoners War developer Com2us has entered a licensing agreement with toy manufacturer Funko to produce figurines based on the developers' flagship game.

The agreement will see Summoners War characters added to Funko's Pop! line of products. Com2us is the first South Korean developer to sign such an agreement with the manufacturer.

Funko will also produce digital items such as emojis, digital cards and custom avatar options for its Pop! Yourself product. Apparel and accessories will also be made.

All Funko and games

"We are thrilled to be the first South Korean gaming company to team up with Funko and see their take on Summoners War's iconic characters," said Casey Lee, CEO of Com2us USA.

"As Com2us continues its robust venture into merchandise licensing and entertainment media, we want to ensure the Summoners War brand is in the hands of creative minds that are at the vanguard of shaping trends and setting standards."

Com2us partnered with Skybound Entertainment back in November 2017 to extend Summoners War beyond just a single game. The partnership will see the production of comics, animation and more based on the franchise.
