CSR Racing has surpassed $1 billion in lifetime player spending with over 180 million players worldwide. 

The milestone comes 13 years after the debut of CSR Racing in 2012 which built on a global franchise with the launch of CSR2 in 2016. 

The team believed that CSR Racing succeeded by focusing on short, high-intensity drag races tailored for mobile play that offered a blend of accessibility and depth.

Moreover, Zynga claimed that CSR2 has shown exceptional performance over nearly a decade, dominating the mobile drag racing category with an impressive 70% global market share in 2025.

“A billion dollars in player spending is more than a financial milestone, it’s a reflection of trust from our audience," said Zynga VP of games Sam Cooper.

“As we look to the future, we’re more energised than ever to continue innovating, evolving and delivering new experiences that honour the legacy of CSR while pushing the boundaries of what mobile racing can be."

Beyond its commercial success, Cooper said the CSR franchise appeals to both casual gamers and car enthusiasts, offering tuning mechanics and community-driven features.
