At Pocket Gamer Connects London 2015, Ian Hamilton gave a talk about designing games for people with disabilities.

Pointing out that a disability is merely the result of bad design - disability being when a medical condition comes up against a barrier that creates an obstacle in someone's normal routine - he called for designers to think more carefully about how they deal with accessibilty to games.

4 ways to fail

Of course, the subject is a large one - ranging from vision to hearing, understanding and physical dexterity.

In this talk, Hamilton focused on the issue of audio.
