Bandai Namco’s fighting game Dragon Ball Legends has flown by the $40 million mark in global revenues on the App Store and Google Play.

According to market intelligence firm Sensor Tower, the game reached the milestone just over a month from its launch date of May 31st.

Japanese players have provided the lion’s share of revenue thus far with 67 per cent, with the US representing the second most with 14 per cent.

Google Play has proved to be slightly more popular for Dragon Ball Legends and has fronted up 54 per cent of revenue, with iOS stumping up 46 per cent.

Dragon Ball Legends also placed 21st globally on the revenue charts for June and third among all apps on the Japanese App Store’s top grossing iPhone apps chart.
