Mythical Games' FIFA Rivals has surpassed 1 million downloads since it launched last month.
The game was released on Mythical’s Mythos blockchain which is built on the Polkadot L1 network, and debuted alongside the now-concluded FIFA Club World Cup.
Since its release, FIFA Rivals has drawn steady player activity with 15m matches played, 16m goals scored, 14m interceptions, 7m super moves, and 4m goals saved.
FIFA Rivals is a free-to-play mobile PvP game where players compete in real-time matches. Victories earn gacha balls with rewards like in-game currency, player upgrades, and new team members.
Continuous growth
The game offers NFTs through the Mythical Market, including player cards and items like balls, boots, emojis, and kits.
Moreover, its new Adidas-themed season features Copa, F50, and Predator gear, with exclusive rewards available via adiClub integration.
FIFA Rivals builds on the success of Mythical Games' NFL Rivals, which launched in April 2023 and has since surpassed 5m installs and 15m matches. Together, the Rivals games have over 7m registered on-chain players.
Mythical Games said FIFA Rivals sees tens of thousands of daily installs, boosted by weekly events, PvP tournaments, and a growing esports scene with cash prizes.
The developer's upcoming roadmap includes new stadiums, expanded game modes, and cross-chain NFT interoperability within the Polkadot ecosystem.
