Gamescom 2025 has concluded with 357,000 visitors from 128 countries, marking its biggest and most diverse edition yet.

The event hosted 1,568 exhibitors from 72 nations, with 70% coming from abroad. Trade visitors exceeded 34,000, with the strongest growth from the US, China, Canada and Japan.

This year's edition also hit record digital reach with over 630 million global views, including 72m for Opening Night Live and 5.7m page views for Gamescom epix.

The devcom developer conference, soon to be renamed Gamescom Dev, welcomed 5,400 attendees. The Gamescom congress grew by 10%, surpassing 1,000 participants for the first time.

Setting new records 

The city of Cologne also joined the celebrations, drawing around 80,000 visitors to the Gamescom city festival over the weekend.

“Gamescom 2025 sets new standards," said game managing director Felix Falk. “Bigger, more diverse and more international than ever before, the most important festival of gaming culture underscores the positive force that games, the industry and the global community represent.” 

Gamescom 2025 took place in Cologne, Germany, featuring 233,000 square meters of exhibition space and expanded halls, arenas, and outdoor areas.

Gamescom 2026 will take place from August 26th to 30th next year, with Opening Night Live set for August 25th.
