Grand Mountain Adventure 2 surpasses 1m downloads in first month

Swedish developer Toppluva AB's Grand Mountain Adventure 2 has surpassed one million downloads worldwide.

The title, which is a sequel to Grand Mountain Adventure, hit the milestone just one month after its mobile launch on February 18th, 2025. 

The skiing game also sat in the top 20 for Free Adventure Games and Free iPhone Games on global iOS charts.

“On the right track" 

Grand Mountain Adventure 2 has expanded on the original with new mountain ranges, four ski resorts and more. Its release came shortly after the original hit 25 million installs - achieved across iOS, Android, Steam and Nintendo Switch.

“We're amazed to have surpassed one million downloads for Grand Mountain Adventure 2 so quickly!” said game director Sebastian Sehr. 

“Skiing and having fun in the mountains has always been our biggest passion, and bringing that into this game has been our focus. 

“Seeing players from all around the world enjoying our virtual mountains has been a huge confirmation that we're on the right track, and motivates us to keep working on our definition of a great day in the mountains.”
