AppsFlyer's $100m annual recurring revenue, PGC London reveals first speakers, and Com2uS on following up a $1bn hit

Following up on a billion-dollar hit mobile game with another similar success is a tough task - in fact, only Supercell has managed to do it.
Summoners War developer Com2uS is the latest company looking for a follow-up from its still-growing flagship IP. To that end, it’s bagged the Skylanders licence from Activision for Ring of Heroes.
We spoke to Gamevil Com2uS GM David Mohr about its plans for the game, in our most-read story of the week.
Second up is the rather self-promotional news that we’ve unveiled the first wave of speakers for Pocket Gamer Connects London, taking place on January 21st to 22nd.
Money, money, money (it’s so funny)
Elsewhere on our Hot Five, AppsFlyer has reported annual recurring revenue of more than $100m for Q3 2018. Not bad, not bad.
And finally, Supercell’s Clash Royale took $46 million in revenue in September (again, not bad), and Roblox has made close to $500 million on mobile alone (really, not bad at all).

Popular kids MMO Roblox generates nearly $500m on mobile »Having flown under the radar for quite some time, Roblox is now finally getting recognition in both industry and mainstream press.
But just how big has it become? Sensor Tower estimates that on mobile alone Roblox has made $486 million.
For the three months ending September 30th 2018, the title is said to have generated $92 million in sales - up 87 per cent from earnings made during the same period the year prior.
Overall Roblox was the 28th highest grossing app for Q3 worldwide.

Clash Royale took $46 million in September »Supercell’s mobile smash hit Clash Royale making money isn’t news.
But the scale of which it’s still raking in the cash is. Despite claims of the title falling away from its once lofty perch, Sensor Tower estimates the title took $45.8 million in September alone.
Around 25 per cent ($11.7 million) of that was said to hail from the US, with Japan and Germany highlighted as other key sales generators.
In total, Clash Royale is thought to have generated more than $2.3 billion in revenue worldwide.

Sales are claimed to have increased by 100 per cent every 12 months.
