iPhone 7 rumoured to launch in US between 15-19 September at $749

The iPhone 7 is rumoured to launch within weeks of today's event with prices starting at around $749.

The rumour comes from the Hindustan Times, which claims that a "person in the know of the development" believes that the new phones will be available between 15-19 September in the US, and 26 September in India.

The price of the basic unlocked model, a 32GB iPhone 7, is expected to be around $749, with other models obviously being more expensive.

There are plenty of rumours going around about the iPhone 7's specifications, as well as the new Apple Watches that Apple is expected to reveal today.

All we can be sure of at this time, however, is that Apple will be holding a keynote at 10am PDT/6pm GMT.
