Unity appoints Ruth Ann Keene as new General Counsel

Unity has hired Ruth Ann Keene as its General Counsel.

She will lead the global Unity Technologies legal team, answering directly to Unity CEO John Riccitiello.

Keene has been Vice President, Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary at Autodesk over the last 11 years.

During her time at Autodesk, she oversaw worldwide litigation and intellectual property, as well as overseeing legal teams in various departments.

"Exceptional growth"

"It’s exciting to be able to join Unity, it’s not often you get to participate in a moment of exceptional growth like this," said Keene.

"I look forward to being part of the Unity team as we scale our existing businesses and launch new products and services worldwide."

Riccitiello added: "Ruth Ann’s extensive experience and expertise make her a perfect fit for Unity and the needs of our growing game development and services platform.

"We are excited to have Ruth Ann on board and look forward to her valuable guidance as we grow and expand."
