Krafton reported record-breaking earnings for Q1 2025, with sales reaching ₩874.2 billion ($608m) and operating profit at ₩457.3bn ($318m).
This marks a 31.3% increase in sales and a 47.3% rise in operating profit compared to the same quarter last year.
Krafton said that it achieved “significant growth" across all of its business divisions. Mobile revenue reached ₩532.4bn ($371m), driven by premium items, IP collaborations, and localised marketing.
PUBG: Battlegrounds and the launch of InZoi boosted its PC earnings to ₩323.5bn ($225m). The company's console division and other segments brought it ₩18.3bn ($12.5m).
The way forward
Krafton said it plans to expand the PUBG franchise with new content, collaborations, and game modes while broadening its global reach through upcoming titles like Project Black Budget, Project Valor, and PUBG: Blindspot.
With photorealistic Unreal Engine 5 graphics and user-generated content, the company aims to transform PUBG into a full-fledged “PUBG 2.0” games platform.
Moreover, Krafton's strong Q1 2025 performance was boosted by the successful early access launch of inZOI, which sold over one million copies in its first week - making it the fastest-selling title in the company’s history with 95% of sales coming from global markets.
