Montreal-based Mistplay has launched a games reward hub called LoyaltyPlay to empower mobile app publishers. 

The new hub will allow publishers in the US to monetise and retain users by letting them earn in-app currency after completing activities or making in-app purchases in games. 

Mistplay is currently only available to iPhone users in the US, with a global rollout planned for later this year. 

Beyond conventional 

Launched in 2016, Mistplay claims to have millions of active users driving hundreds of millions of in-app purchases across nine key markets. 

The company said it plans to grow its platform with a proprietary AI engine in the coming months, bringing AI-driven game recommendations to boost scale and performance.

“Our vision with LoyaltyPlay is to go beyond the conventional offerwall model and introduce a reward experience that fosters deeper loyalty with a user's favourite apps through the power of gaming," said Mistplay CEO Tricia Han.
