MLB Rivals has officially surpassed five million downloads across Google Play, the App Store and Steam.

To celebrate the milestone and the game's second anniversary, developer Com2uS has introduced a series of special events and rewards including a Team Selective Signature Pack.

The celebration also features a Random Dice event where players can complete missions and earn in-game items through daily dice rolls. A limited-time Second Anniversary Mission Pass lets players unlock exclusive Moment-tier cards by progressing through in-game challenges.

Pitching ahead

The US, Japan and Taiwan are considered MLB Rivals' major markets. Across its five million installs, more than one billion pitches have been thrown in-game.

AppMagic data suggests that the title has generated $59m in gross player spending between Google Play and the App Store, led by Japan.

In celebration of the upcoming MLB All-Star Game on July 15, Com2uS has plans to bring new features and more in-game events to MLB Rivals. The Ranked Slugger World Championship, running from July 7th, invites players to compete in home run battles, with special bonuses for using All-Star players.

Fans can also take part in community-driven All-Star Game predictions, both in-game and on social media.

In addition, the All-Star Game Scout Event will allow players to earn Scout Tickets through daily missions and activities, which can be used to unlock new players.
