NHN Entertainment partners with Sony Pictures on soft-launched Jumanji mobile game tie-in

NHN Entertainment has partnered with Sony Pictures on a recently soft-launched mobile game based on the upcoming Jumanji movie.

Jumanji: The Mobile Game was soft-launched on November 28th 2017 on Android and iOS in Canada and Thailand. It is expected to launch on December 14th.

Taking inspiration from the original Jumanji movie, the game is a mixture of board game and CCG with real-time PvP. It will also make use of the new movie by featuring cartoon versions of the cast, including Jack Black and Dwayne Johnson.

Time to play

NHN is currently running a pre-registration campaign ahead of the game's release. Players can earn some in-game hard currency and skill cards if they sign up.

Spin-off studio NHN Pixelcube has also worked on a Hollywood IP recently, having partnered with FoxNext Games on a mobile game based on the Kingsman franchise.
