Here we go! The PocketGamer.biz Top 50 Mobile Game Makers is back for 2025.
Each year, we compile a list of the companies in the mobile games business we think are at the top of their game.
The list covered developers and publishers of all sizes on mobile from anywhere in the world. Tool providers, engine makers, ad networks, and other service providers and middleware vendors are not eligible for entry.
Top 30 MENA and Southeast Asia
This year, we're also going a step further. As well as the Top 50 Mobile Game Makers, which will be revealed during Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki on October 7th and 8th, we're also putting together special regional lists too.
We've got the Top 30 MENA Game Makers, which will be revealed at Pocket Gamer Connects Aqaba on November 8th and 9th, and the Top 30 Southeast Asia Game Makers, to be unveiled later this year at a new event.

Final placement in these lists is an editorial decision, and the criteria expand from quality and quantity of new games released and financial performance over the last 12 months to notable innovation or impact on the industry, cultural importance, and future potential.
