Once Human Mobile set to launch in April 2025

NetEase Games' free-to-play post-apocalyptic survival game Once Human will launch on mobile devices in April 2025.
Developed by NetEase’s Starry Studio, the title, which sees players fight against eldritch horrors called Deviants, was first launched on PC in July 2024. At the time of writing, it’s the 36th most played game on Steam by concurrent users at 35,000, peaking at nearly 48,000 over the last 24 hours.
In the build-up to the mobile release, the publisher is giving players who register their interest in the game the chance to win an iPhone.
New features galore
NetEase is planning a number of new features for Once Human in 2025. It aims to launch custom servers next year to allow players to adjust the difficulty and invite friends to explore new worlds. Moreover, early access servers will be available, letting players test new scenarios before they go live.
In Q3 2025, Once Human will also introduce three scenarios: Code: Purification, where players prevent pollution to return the world to its uncorrupted state; Code: Deviation, focused on capturing and battling Deviations for rewards; and Code: Broken, a PvP free-for-all with randomised events.
NetEase said the game will eventually make its way to consoles as it aims for full cross-platform support.
