Global development platform NEOM has kicked off the third cohort of its Level Up accelerator programme.

NEOM said the scheme offers 12 months of support, including over 600 mentor hours per studio, funding, and access to a network of partners such as Sandsoft, Tamatem Games, and Kwalee.

NEOM Gaming Manager Maxim de Wit took to LinkedIn and shared that “this cohort will be our biggest yet" as the Saudi-based development platform plans to welcome 10 studios.

Program phases

The third cohort of the Level Up accelerator programme comes in two phases: Readiness Phase and Studio Acceleration Phase.

The Readiness Phase is open to Saudi Arabia-based game development studios and is designed for teams that have developed a minimum viable product (MVP) or a vertical slice of their game.

The Studio Acceleration Phase requires studios to have dedicated individuals in key roles, including CEO, financial, project manager and more. Companies must also be officially registered as an LLC with VAT registration and a business bank account.

Applications are underway until May 11th, 2025. Interested studios can apply on the accelerator website
