Supersonic launches hybridcasual competition for mobile game developers

Supersonic from Unity has launched a new contest for developers making hybridcasual games. 

The contest offers developers financial support to accelerate game development and launch hybridcasual mobile titles through non-recoupable monthly payments. 

Supersonic's Superhybrid platform will allow developers to manage, operate, and optimise their hybrid business with its data-driven tools for A/B testing, level analytics, event control, multiplayer features and more.

Backing and guidance 

Developers can receive up to $10,000 per month based on key performance indicators (KPIs), with a $30,000 bonus for reaching the soft launch phase. Games that are already live and meet target KPIs will get customised financial terms and expert support.

Supersonic's expert team will provide guidance on production, design, monetisation, marketing, and data analysis to support developers.

The Unity-owned publisher said it will also support developers throughout the process by providing transparency, expertise, and access to advanced technology. The contest opens on December 2nd 2024 and games must be submitted by January 30th 2025.
