Tools firm The Game Creators launches AppGameKit AR

UK-based The Game Creators has added ARkit and ARCore support to its development tool AppGameKit.

This means developers can now create augmented reality apps with the tool for iOS and Android devices with the toolset.

It also adds new cloud saving options for iCloud on iOS and Google Drive on Android. as well as a host of other fixes and additions to the toolset.

What’s ‘appening

“With these new AR commands and values, we've stripped down the complexity of AR and are providing an easy way for our users to access AR features from their own code and to easily merge reality with their own 3D digital content,” said The Game Creators development director Rick Vanner.
