Mumbai-based mobile studio Triple Tap Games has raised $1.2 million in a pre-seed funding round to develop hybridcasual puzzle titles.
The developer said the funds will fuel its mission to build “innovative" mobile titles tailored to a global audience, with a primary focus on US and European players. It also aims to use the cash to hire new staff and build up its capabilities in rapid prototyping, data analytics, distribution and monetisation.
The investment round was led by Eximius Ventures and Kalaari Capital along with angel investors from the entertainment and video games community.
Leveraging AI
Triple Tap Games was founded in 2024 by ex-Crazy Labs head of India studio Karan Khairajani. The team includes industry professionals with experience from Firescore Interactive, Games2win, Super Huge Studios and Nukebox Studios.
The Mumbai-based developer said its team has over a decade of experience in the games industry. They've created several titles like Soap Cutting, Acrylic Nails and Hair Dye. It claims the games have amassed over 400 million mobile downloads collectively.
“We are excited to announce this fundraise, which will fuel our vision to build in the category of ‘relax and unwind’ games," said Triple Tap Games founder Karan Khairajani.
“Our team, with over a decade of experience in the gaming space, is uniquely positioned to understand what players want.
