- Emoji Game features Genmoji, which was created with Apple Intelligence for a smarter twist.
Apple has added a new emoji-based game to its Apple News+ Puzzles lineup.
Aptly called Emoji Game, the title was developed internally at the iPhone giant and is now available on iOS in the US and Canada.
The title, first announced at WWDC, challenges players to complete phrases using emoji in as few moves as possible, with results shareable via Game Centre.
The Emoji Game joins the Apple News+ puzzle offerings alongside other mini games like crosswords, Quartiles, and Sudoku, with new puzzles released daily.
New offering
Apple News+ subscribers can access daily and archived puzzles in the News app, and starting this autumn, through the new Apple Games app designed to improve discovery and social gameplay.
Available in the US and English-speaking Canada, Apple News+ costs $12.99 per month or is included in the Apple One Premier bundle at $37.95 per month for up to six users.
“Emoji Game challenges players to use a selection of emoji — including Genmoji created using Apple Intelligence — to fill in the blanks of three short phrases using as few moves as possible," said Apple in a post describing the game.
